Hey guys, curious about how your hirevues have gone and turned out. Does anyone have stories where they think they bombed their hirevues but ended up getting a superday/second round?

I think I bombed on every single one of them lol... But networked hard enough so that HRs spared me with a second round.

I submitted my HireVue last month. I sounded overly rehearsed for most parts, like I was a robot reciting a script. And at parts when I did falter a bit (happened two to three times overall), it probably seemed like I had forgotten the script lol. I tried to sound more conversational but I got nervous and ended up being very awkward.
I got my superday invite two weeks later. Possible reasons I passed the HireVue round:
1) The video screeners managed to look past the delivery of my answers and focus on the content instead. The content for 5/6 of my answers was great, though I didn't really have much to say for the remaining question.
2) I have a pretty good resume (minus my GPA). But I have no idea if the resume is considered when HCM decides who to pass for the HireVue round.
For context: I didn't pass the HireVue round because of networking. Didn't know anyone in the office I applied for (wish I had networked, could have helped me post-superday).
That's solid stuff, exactly how I felt when I did my mine. Hopefully I can pass through as well.
I once used the expression "I tanked that internship" during a BB Hirevue and was still offered an interview. I think Hirevue's always seem like they went worse than they actually do.
Guys, you just have to work on your micro expressions to ace HireVue interviews
Just remember to blink no more than 20 and no less than 15 times per minute and you will be fine.
