Currently a first year analyst at a top tech boutique. Had a few exits to MM/UMM PE but common exits are Corp Dev/VC/GE or lateral to other banks (BB/EB/Top MM). Was looking for lateral opportunities and have a verbal from a BB (UBS/DB) in Hong Kong. My question is, how viable is it to recruit MM/UMM PE in US from HK? Would the location be a disadvantage? Not sure if I should wait for local opportunities to pop up or just make the jump. Any insights are helpful.
