HK DCM or boutique NY

As the title suggests, what would be better for an internship, a semi-BB (meaning not any of the traditional BB, but not a boutique either...so like a big bank whose name everyone has heard of) or a not so well known boutique in NY? Ultimately I want to work in the US and do either m&a or lev. fin, so I can see how either DCM or boutique m&a would be helpful. I am leaning towards HK because I would love to go there for a summer but I guess my main concern is what the implications of doing DCM are.

A follow up question is, what is more important: bank name prestige or actual experience? Many people on this board talk about big names on their resumes that get them interviews. The HK bank definitely trumps the other in name, but I think in certain areas/industries/circles, the boutique is quite reputable (this isn't a boutique that has like 2 deals a year).
