HL runs a 3 year analyst program and the pay scales
AN1: 105K
AN2: 115K
AN3: 125K
This makes them ~5K off Street for AN1 pay and 10K off for AN2 pay, with AN3 pay being less relevant or equal to other banks. Is 15K over two years something to just brush off? No, but I also don't think it's a reason to completely write off a bank
Being underpaid your first two years out of college is material IMO, especially for top/mid level canidates
Why wear yourself out in one of the coverage groups when you can do the same at other boutiques and get paid more

Definitely agree. I check the site once a week hoping someone has heard something. Not the end of the world but they should be paying over street imo.
HL CF probably indexes against its competitors like Blair, HW, Baird, Piper, Lincoln.

lincoln 100/110/125
not sure if piper or Lincoln re-raised, but if not that puts HL around mid-pack in base salary.
RX is a different story and their bonuses are more reflective of their comp indexing to boutiques
Rothschild M&A too is also 105.
Still no update?!?!? CS raised to 110 today as well. Seems like we’re the only bank not at 110. This is getting fucking ridiculous.
One thing to note about HL is the massive perks for lunch and dinner. At 105K, it is possible that you're net cash flow is higher given every meal is paid for in full. That's not the case at a BB.

Seconded - salary levels used to be above street, both for Houlihan and for GCA, which they recently acquired. Now they are below market, and base salaries massively so in some geographies. The pay scale also rises much more slowly as you progress compared to other firms.
