$400K not including housing allowance? WOW, how far does that go in HK?
Housing is about US$31k per year. I wanted a proper comparable amongst HK associates, as previous posts on associate comps seem very US-centric and thus irrelevant to me.

im applying for GS' SA position in Asia excl Jpn, and i was just wondering how much do people get paid if they get hired right out of an asian office(say, Taiwan)? IBD? Research?

I've always thought that pay in HK is in line with that of NYC, but by comparing $400K for 3rd year associate with the previous posts, i guess this is not true?? Can someone pls. comment on the pay difference for analysts and associates?
Can any other HK associates pls provide datapoints on this? Thanks
