Houlihan Lokey Phone Interview

So I was able to secure a phone in a few weeks with Houlihan Lokey, I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer me any advice on how best to prepare for it.

Thanks for all the help.

I went through a phone interview and multiple rounds of on site interviews with them a few years back... I'm not really sure if the phone interview was weighted more towards tech or behavioral, but I would know everything, I know that through the whole process they hit both types of questions. One of my on site interviews was a 30-min technical grilling, but others were all fit and just sitting at the table shooting the shit.

Know your stuff though, not an easy interview process.

Is this for FT or SA and which office? I went through all of the interviews for FT in LA and unfortunately didn't get the offer. My phone interview wasn't to bad. I went through my summer experience and was asked to walk through valuations I did as a SA in detail. A few technical accounting questions (they are big on accounting, at my superday they only asked technical accounting questions). If I remember correctly from my phone interview, I had to walk through the effect on 3 statements of an equipment purchase financed by 50% cash and 50% debt (given an interest rate) assuming a straight line depreciation. They are big on why HL and why MM? Also know about the group, if it's corp fin, they do pure advisory, FAS is all valuation / fairness opinions, and restructuring speaks for itself.
