Had a good friend in the group.Very sweaty with a generalist mandate, recent transactions in the healthcare/retail space. If you look at recent analyst departures on LinkedIn, a few analysts left just after a year and a few months. The group tends to do Governmental Ad Hoc advisory, as opposed to debtor or fulcrum advisory. Exits have been all over the place- a lot of corp dev and strategy, some to MM PE, and the occasional Ares direct lending/PE exit. You will get solid transaction experience but exits definitely seem a step down from the NYC office. A lot of recruiting done with USC/UCLA/Ivey, and some non-targets. Recent RX deals: Mallinckrodt, Purdue Pharma, Guitar CenterRecent Exits: (Corporate) Disney, Ethos, Simulate, RE Acquisitions, (PE) Freeman Spogli, Ares, Gemspring, (Credit) Oaktree
