housing

has anyone lived in or know about EHS (educational housing) before - especially the Brooklyn St. George places? neighborhood has places to eat, etc?
and how strict are they with overnight guests if i wanna have people stay over a lot?
any other alternatives people know about?

nyu is done. I lived in the st george last summer. Lots of kids there basiclly all interns, so lots of girl, Ibankers, and everything inbetween. Overnight guest are a bitch, and you should pretty much plan on never having them if you live there. You can do it, but you have to plan it like 48 hours in advance, its a total headache. The building host lots of free or deeply discount events. like boat cruises with food and boose, brodway shows, baseball games.. etc. the neighbor hood is pro, lots of food and it is quiet, lots of parks and trees, looks real nice. it is also one stop to wall street. its prob the best bang for your buck. oh yeah there is a pool tabel in the lobby, and you get free gym acess to a gym around the corner.
