Are 50-60 hour weeks common in back/middle office functions like Compliance, Operations, and Risk Management at a BB? At first I thought they were solid in by 9 and out by 5/6 jobs, but I asked a few friends in compliance who cited "50-60" hours weeks in compliance and "occasional 55/week" in Ops. Are they exaggerating or does this sound about right?
