How are Transfer Students Perceived?

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on how transfer students are regarded during IB recruiting. I just finished my freshman year at a non-target and will be transferring to Columbia for sophomore year, but I know recruiting for summer '22 is happening now and recruiting for summer '23 happens pretty soon, so I won't have as much time to truly establish myself as a Columbia student.

Would really appreciate if anyone can offer some insight. I'm obviously hoping to get the same treatment as other Columbia/target students, but would like to be mentally prepared if that won't be the case.
