How badly do you need to do to not get a return offer?
Made a lot of mistakes on deliverables and took much longer than expected on those deliverables. Will I not get a return? Group historically has high offer rates and I have good rapport with the team however my work was subpar. Do interns that did poorly on deliverables still get return offers?
You're fucked m8
looks like you're about to find out
Varies too much by group/bank/hiring needs to give you any answers. Seems like you're pretty anxious about offer day but nothing anyone says here will impact your decision. Just got to wait until end of week. best of luck!
So you had subpar deliverables that were also late but have a good rapport? Idk man i hope it works out but id talk to/ catch up with everyone in your network again so they can vouch for you and your potential to grow. Good luck!
Hey man - I'm nervous too. Reality is you did your best and if that isn't good enough then it was not the right fit. Worse case scenario you let it hit you on the nose for a couple of days and reflect, then get back to recruiting FT.
Good luck to everyone that is hoping for good news Friday... having a tough time sleeping here lol
Really depends on your bank and group. I was at a top BB, and you would probably get a return offer. Attitude, fit and desire to learn are far more important than actual work quality for an intern. You basically have to do something really inappropriate or have an awful attitude to not get a return offer.
