how busy are bankers right now given the market?
with the market being so bad, has this had any influence on IBD? are banks still as busy or is there more free time?

what type of bank are you at? what are the hours looking like?
Our VC team is very quiet, some are even allowed to take holidays. Some light assistance work to existing portfolio companies. No big movements towards tech investments, unless already in pipeline or unique/long-term/fundamental investment that fits our themes.
Industrials (manufacturing and services focus) at a balance sheet MM. Still consistently busy since I joined at beginning of 2022 as a lateral.
