How can I find out which cities have the most analyst positions / banks outside of the main hubs?
I am going to graduate this December and unfortunately did not secure a full-time offer in ib. I will be working at a small firm that works on investments related to insurance and is located in Ohio.
I went to a non-target and graduated with above a 3.9 GPA, before getting a master's in finance.I am planning on cold emailing different banks in the state and trying to network my way into the next year's analyst class, but I dont know if I should aim to network with people in Cincinnati, Cleveland, or Columbus. Where can I find information regarding how big banking or other areas of finance are in those cities and how they compare?
