How do I get into IFC?

I am a fresh graduate and I'm still pretty idealistic I think. I am really keen in work done by IFC as well as their Investment Analyst Programme offered each year. I stay in Southeast Asia. However, I have never heard of anyone managed to get in there before from the people around me. I'm just curious what exactly does it take to reach there?

I am thinking of starting out working in project finance but how relevant is this? My professor in school told me it is nearly impossible still and they prefer people who have lived in emerging markets.

I really appreciate any advice on this, especially from people who have experience with the application process.
