How do you file for H1B in senior yr?

International student here with a 2021 IB SA lined up. Assuming I am able to secure a FT offer, I wanted to know if it’s possible to file for H1B in senior year. I only have 1 year of OPT so this will literally double my chances of getting the H1B.

I have heard that you can file for the H1B in the senior year but are there any requirements such as needing to graduate early?

Find multiple companies to sponsor you. It will increase your chances significantly. If foreign IT shops can file for hundreds of candidates, why shouldn't you apply the same principle?

Technically, a degree is not a requirement for H1b anyway. The legal text also allows other qualifications or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. Professional licenses, or memberships may also work. Your lawyer will explain the details. And if you are enrolled, had your internships, and are about to graduate... that should count for something.

Speak to your lawyer.
