How Does Goodwill Affect The Financial Statements
Does Goodwill affect net income? Also, if Goodwill decreases on the balance sheet from year to year, is there an adjustment for it on the SCF? Please explain why. Thank you!
goodwill won't show up on income statement but amortization expense will. amortization, because its "non-cash", is added back on cash flow statement. think of amortization as the equivalent of depreciation but for intangibles instead of PP&E
