How hard is it to switch out of Houston Energy IB to Industrials/Generalist NYC or Chicago
I would like to move to NYC or Chicago due to family reasons. I want to switch out of Houston energy into a generalist or industrials role. I go a regional target school in Texas and landed a top EB/BB role in Houston. I’ll be an IB intern there this summer.
How should I go about switching? Of course, I haven’t started the 10-week internship and gotten a return FT offer. However, if I do, can I talk about switching locations on that FT offer? Or is there any other way? Thanks
