How hard it actually to break into IB?
Say you're a target student and have a 3.5+ GPA, but do minimal networking. How likely is it to break in?

If you are actually at a target probably north of 50% if you prep technicals. Really, it's only brutally difficult if you go to a nontarget.
Being a white or Asian male probably reduces your chances by 10ish percent lol (ballpark guess, but most likely not far off).
