currently interning at a boutique tech investment bank for my freshman summer and am getting stressed over recruiting for this upcoming fall. does anyone know how important it is to have deal experience on my resume? all i'm doing right now is market research but i don't know if i should be expected to know and do more for my resume. would appreciate any insights! thank you

honestly not important at all. Your in a good spot already with an first- year internship, you have to remember , there are a ton of kids without finance internships freshman year, let alone deal experience. There are also people who do everything right, land a junior summer internship in IB, and don't work on a single live deal while there.....
