How is eating lollipops perceived in IB?

Second week of my summer internship at an EB, I was eating a lollipop in the trenches. One of the MDs who I haven't met b4 saw me and gave me sh*t for it and told me to "get it together".

I was and still am a little bit confused...should I send an email to him requesting an apology or maybe involve HR?

I demolish tins of citrus flavored retro sours candys (a company bought the rights to altoid sours which were discontinued) to help me quit zyns. They come in a nice metal tin and does not look like a lollipop because there's no stem.

One time another an1 took five zyns, stapled them together, and attached them to the bottom of a vape. He also ended up getting chewed out by the VP on the project because his “lollipop” made him throw up all over the VP’s Allen Edmonds. Another time an associate brought over a “paid friend” to the office do some coke of his “lollipop”. That associate later got fired for stealing another associate’s computer monitor, and then he tried to fight two women from HR and had to get dragged out by security.
