Looking to leave for rehab for my drinking problem. It should be about 30 days. I was wondering how this looks and what will happen. Obviously not saying it’s for rehab, just medical reasons but I am curious what might happen. Thanks.

Depends on how long you've been working. If you're fairly new then I'd assume it would likely be frowned upon. However, if you feel like you need rehab then prioritize it — your health comes first, career second.
Thanks. I just talked to HR and got it approved. My boss was actually very chill abt it. I think people on the street are starting to take mental health more seriously now. Maybe Ij just have a great boss though
