How long am I stuck
1st year analyst who just got an offer to leave to a different industry. My contract says that I'm required to give 4 weeks notice, when I give notice will they force me to stay that long?

You’re not required to do shit. If they make you stay (as opposed to immediately shutting of your comp), just get paid to slack for 4 weeks. Sounds ideal.
