How Long to Get Technicals Down for Top EBs (Moelis, Evercore, PJT, etc.)?
If I want to be competitive for the top EBs (Moelis, CVP, Evercore, PJT, PWP, etc.), how long did it take you to become proficient in your technical interview prep?
Assume some basic finance and accounting knowledge, but that I haven’t really started grinding technicals yet. Is it possible to get there with, say, the classic 40 hours over Thanksgiving and 80 hours over Christmas break, or is that not going to cut it for EBs which notoriously have paper LBOs and merger math
