How many of you like Obama

Let's take a poll. How many of you like/dislike Obama and why? GROUND RULES! 1. You cannot say socialist! Obama's not a socialist! http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-march-8-201… 2. You can't say because he's muslim or black(he's not even muslim) 3. You can't say some BS you heard on fox news. (IE Obama is trying to increase gas prices)

I don't like him because I feel he was under qualified and was only interested in the presidency because he wanted to get into history books as the first black president. IMO.

Out of curiosity, which US president or candidate has not been under qualified? It's harder to get into PE than to become president of the US.

Obama does not understand the following: economics, the Constituion, free markets, non-interventionism, liberty, the dangers of excessive debt, the ills of socialism and big government, taxes, wealth creation, business, and so forth.

And you do? If so please feel free to try and run a country filled with Known it all, self entitled assholes. No one man is responsible for this mess or the last mess in 2000. There are many parts of the "government " besides Obama or Bush. There has only been two or three good presidents anyway. It's just as much as a flashy figurehead as the Queen.

Was that a coherent stream of thought because I have no idea what you said.

Agree. It's not a rabid hatred for him personally, just the policies he implements. He seems like a decent guy, but Obamacare is probably the worst piece of legislation passed in decades. The stimulus has ballooned our deficit to ridiculous proportions.

He could mitigate this by making some social advances, but has more or less continued every policy from the Bush admin. Patriot act? Check. Conflict in middle east? Yep. Unmanned drones killing US citizens? That's new.

All this is happening as he demonizes Wall Street. He is fanning the flames of class warfare. I think he has a vision of the US as a French welfare state, and is trying to generate popular support for the idea.

I actually voted for him in 2008, just because Sarah Palin seemed way too retarded to me.

All in all I think he's been decent. I don't support his stance on socialized medicine, and to be honest I'm kind of bothered by the fact that he killed a US citizen (I get that there might have been a significant security threat, but the precedent of just killing a citizen without due process really bothers me). You have to admit tho that we have a better image around the world than when Bush was in office. And I tend to lean left on some social issues.

This year it's Romney all the way tho haha. We need a former PE guy in the whitehouse :)

I dislike him for a number of reasons. The lack of respect for due process, the drone strikes on Al-Awlaki for example, he should have been tried in absentia. The continuing prosecution of the war in Afghanistan, it's like Nixon in Vietnam, nothing have been gained in the past 3 years, just more dead. The continuation of the war on drugs, that costs billions, tens of thousands dead (Mexicans who died in the cartel violence for example) and turning sick people into criminals. His unwillingness to support recognition of same sex marriage. His attempts to abbrogate the second amendment. The list goes on.

war on drugs, gay marriage? fine if that's what you want, but of ALL the faults you could find, that's all you got?

I wrote that at some ungodly hour of the morning, but if you want more... The unreasonable marginal tax rates, Healthcare being even more socialized (Medicare/Medicaid is socialized medicine, which I oppose). Picking sides in civil wars i.e. Libya. His continued support of unions to the detriment of everyone else. His support for IBR on student loans, just fueling the bubble and leaving tax payers the tab. An interventionist foreign policy. Basically as a libertarian most of the things that he does upsets me.

Gay marriage isn't something I "want" it's my belief that the state shouldn't dictate morality, if people want to get married, mazel tov. Also the war on drugs is expensive, you'd be better off legalizing and taxing them, there wouldn't be bodies any more.

Obama simply has a disdain for America and Americans. He was elected because he was anti Bush. That is it. A fucking troll doll could have won the 2008 election.
