How many seats for London SA26?

Hi, applying to SA26 after failing to get something in SA25 in London. Will be a final year student. I was wondering how spring conversions fared this year and how it will impact SA recruiting.

Decided against recruiting for springs again last year and feel like I missed out and should have done that instead of going for SA.

Nobody here knows and if anyone says that they do, they are just guessing (badly). Only HR knows and I doubt they are traversing the forum. How many seats are up for grabs is immaterial to you, you should just focus on applying and hope that you get lucky. It's the same every year - you will always be incredibly unlikely to get an IB seat because of how few there are and how many applicants there are. But you might get lucky and get interviews and be able to smash it all the way if you apply.

Hi, thanks for your message. Will try my hardest but it feels so stupid especially in a blackbox like London. Can't even know if I am doing anything wrong till the end of the cycle (or at least after all apps are done)

Yes I know, it can feel like that. But the truth is, when there are so many capable candidates applying with near identical CVs, it really just comes down to luck in London. But that is not to say you won't make it, it just means you need to apply and apply for everything.

Take this with a big grain of salt, but from the people I know at uni (target for context) very few converted. Even firms such as Laz (known for high spring conversions) took it down a notch this yr.

yes and then if i get an SA probably saying i changed my mind and taking a year out to fuck about
