what is a deal toy? and how do you get one?
I’ve never heard of a junior banker having to pay for their deal toys. From my experience it depends. I worked on a $5b+ sellside and MDs said to spare no expenses. Simultaneously, we closed a relatively small deal recently ~900m and were given a budget of $200 a piece
