How often do you go to the gym?
I’m in a sweaty EB group and am constantly doing 80-90 hour weeks. I’ve lost so much muscle mass and am slowly seeing a belly form.
How often are you guys able to get a break from work and hit the gym?

Just gotta rip nickels and dimes (5 pull-ups and 10 pushups at the top of every minute) while you’re wfh (get a doorway pullup bar and a yoga mat). If you don’t have much wfh, just start dropping down and doing pushups behind your desk. If you care about your physique you can’t afford to worry about looking weird in the bullpen.
Double the reps for either and you legitimately have an insane 20 min makeshift workout for travelling / sweaty weeks for the rest of your life
10 sets of 20 push ups a min = 10 min 200 push ups will leave most on the floor and give you a great chest pump
Don’t be a fat fuck and order slop for dinner. If you’re in NYC run kausa for dinner every night (rotisserie chicken) it’s great.
Monitor your calories and try to get in 1-2 lifts in per week. Pushups and pull-ups at night before bed too
TLDR: Try your best to carve out a window consistently to go workout and (hopefully) your team will respect and support that.
Also in a sweaty group (similar hours) and when I first started was horrible at carving out gym time (would go once or twice a week if I was lucky).
I’m consistently doing 4 days a week now but obv easier as I’m an A2A. My advice would be to really try and consistently carve out 60-90min a day (or every other day) at a time that makes sense (i.e. not in the middle of a fire drill or 9am).
I’m unsure what the culture in your group is but I’ve found that most people will respect this and as long as u show that you still do your work regardless, you’ll never catch crap for it.
However the hardest caveat is that by doing that you’re directly tapping into your sleep, when you’re already sleep deprived. This was the hardest part for me, knowing that if I go workout from 9pm - 10:30pm, instead of logging off at 1 im probably logging off at 3am now.
4 days a week is pretty good, so obviously sat and sunday, and that just leaves 2 out of 5 weekdays where you need to find time to go. Usually finish work at a reasonable time at least two days of the week.
True, the biggest thing (as others have flagged) is changing your diet / eating habits so you don’t swell up & gain a ton of weight
