How should I proceed with job search
I am a recent college grad. I didn't really know what I was doing or what I wanted to do when I got out until really late into college. It was only then I realized I wanted to get into IB but after doing research, I found out recruitment happens very early on and they want people with really good GPAs and usually from target schools. I went to a university but I did a lot of goofing off and didn't really feel good about anything up until close to the end of my college life. I have learned my best bet is to get in somewhere small and try to make lateral moves into other places. I am also trying to learn more about the specifics (technical questions, shortcuts on excel/word/powerpoint, etc.) with free materials and plan on purchasing some courses later on. I have taken finance courses and understand the material fairly well. I haven't done any internships at any financial institution. I guess I am just asking for advice on what I should be doing/doing better.
