I emailed a guy I met at an event at my school who is the CEO of a firm that consults energy companies. We were discussing the future of alternative energy and he said he is traveling this week but is happy to further discuss this with me.. then he said "let's discuss next week".
Does this mean that he is offering to meet with me? Or did he mean we can discuss via email?

ask to talk on the phone but dont close the door to meet up for lunch or in person.
Damn, I think I just closed the door for a meeting. Oh well, I think if he meant we should meet he would have said that. Our discussion was via email so that was probably what he meant. I'll try to leave room for a meeting during our phone conversation..
