How to actually use BIWS guides to study/learn technicals and the concepts behind them?

Hi all, I’m currently recruiting for SA 27 IB and while I have worked my way through the 400Q guide, I am definitely not prepared for interviews. I have about a month before interviews likely, and want to know how to digest what I read in the guides. So, how did you guys study them, take notes, make flashcards, etc?

You either know it or you don't. Make sure you know the concepts behind answers. Nothing in the book is too hard. It can definitely get a lot harder in interviews, especially at EBs.

YouTube is a good resource. Chat GPT too.

Apply your same learning methods from school as you would for technical prep. Active recall, practicing problems, etc. Everyone's learning style is different, and if you see what you're doing isn't sufficiently preparing you, maybe try a different approach.  "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results".

Try quizlet, YT vids, mock interviewing w/ a friend. I found ChatGPT to be sometimes wrong in the math, but it can explain conceptual concepts pretty darn well. Also, ChatGPT is really good at mock interviews w/ the voice method now.

Best of luck :)
