How to be better during quarantine. What to do during this pandemic?

During this tough pandemic thats going on I want to know ways to advance myself. Does anyone recommend any courses,certifications,licenses or books are worthwhile during our time home. Anything that would help me gain knowledge on the banking industry or help my resume. Thanks again, appreciate anyones help P.S I'm going to be a freshmen in college

  1. WSO and Break Into Wall Street courses.
  2. Start networking, writing to analysts on Linkedin.
  3. Read news every day (WSO, FT, The Economist, efinancialcareers).
  4. Brush up your resume, give it to some people for review.
  5. Start preparing excel with all BB/MM/Boutiques/PEs and reasearch the spring weeks/ summer internship deadlines.
 

do you have any advice on how to learn how to make dcfs well and do valuations, I’m just starting out. I have some accounting background but no modeling experience. how long will it take to get good at it?

 

Go chase tail and have fun with your boys. ur too young and memories are priceless.
