how to do research on a company in order to prepare for an hirevue?

Im doing my first ever hirevue for the corporate analyst Development Program internship at JP Morgan and I wanted to prepare for it by spending a few days researching a company first, the only problem is that im not sure what to do research on or where to even start? I was also wondering if anyone had tips on how to perform on hirevue(not asking for questions) any help would be greatly appreciated

Most of if not all of the Hirevue are behavioral questions. Be prepared to answer why JPM, why the development program etc. Some tips I can give you is to look at the camera and even though you have two attempts for each question, try not sounding too scripted and practice behavioral question, you should be fine.

if they ask why JPM, do you recommend just looking at the about us page for information to answer the question? and for the why this specific program question, do you mainly just do research on the program?

Yes, read about their core values, like making a difference, learning never stops, you are a member of a team. That will help searching the program and try use the skills that they are looking for and how you have develop them or how you have acquire them trough x,y and z. Also you can me mentioned that you have been able to talk to people that works for JPM and about their culture and you are a right fit. Hirevue is first looked at by an AI that gives you a score based on different factors and then a HR looks at it to make sure that you are not scripted and that you are not repeating words just to get a good score.
