Hello everyone, I have seen A LOT of incoming interns or analysts that were able to have internships during the spring/fall semester in PE, VC or IB. How did you get those roles? I can't seem to find any firms that hire students for internships this Spring 2021 semester. Thanks a lot in advance.

I looked on my school’s Handshake website and just filtered for spring internships in finance and found a PE internship that offered remote opportunities in the winter and spring. There are a lot of smaller firms that may offer work outside of the summer, so I would try take advantage of both your school’s jobs and alumni network.
I checked Handshake weekly to keep an eye out for new opportunities this past fall.
Bump - it would be great if anyone could list names of the firms that they know offer spring internships and pay as well.
