How to make friends as a AN1 in NYC?
I’ve been on the desk for about a month now and things are going well at work. Im satisfied with my work life. However, I don’t really have any friends. I just go to work and go home. I wasn’t in a frat nor do I really have friends from college in the city. I think I’m a fun person to be around and have hobbies (everything from drinking to fitness to music). I just don’t really get how I’m supposed to make friends in a city that feels so isolating and cliquey. Has anybody here been through this?
Work friends?
Ask other analysts you are tight with at work
You go home and have free time? Used to get harassed with post dinner work all the time at that level
