How to market my Data Science Skills / student job experience in an M&A Job Interview?

I have an undergraduate in Business informatics, we had like 2 courses of accounting and controlling and one in finance. Other then that the typical courses in microeconomics, macro, etc with mixed IT Courses. Worked as an Data Analyst during my studies. Now I want to do an internship at smaller less competitive M&A Botique before I start my masters (hopefully in London). I want to get into BB IB in London after my Masters with 3-5 M&A internships under my belt. I am from Germany/Austria and I am doing my internships in Germany for now but of course I will apply to London offices too.

I know what an Analyst does, but I would like to know what concrete ideas you have that I could bring up in my interview or the cold calls for the internships? I can automate with scripts and build models, surely it helps for research during a live deal. Also I do not want to be a quant long term, i like the traditional finance and long term perspective of being the deal maker and knowing my craft at finance combining it with code. So code/Data Science is more a tool for me that I use in my daily private life too, but that's it. But what better examples for me do you guys have that I could bring up as example, because making research just more effective is too vague in my eyes.

I am grateful for any help.
