How to prepare for Corporate Banking Job?
I'm set to start as a full time analyst in Corporate Banking at JPM/WF/CITI for the summer of 2022. I was wondering if anyone had advice on how I could best prepare myself for the role in terms of skills I could learn on my own. Would it be wise to do financial modeling and powerpoint courses on BIWS? I did not intern my junior year summer so I'm coming into the role at a disadvantage relative to my peers who would be coming in with return offers. Thanks

work on your excel and ppt skills. you don't need much else.
Would be helpful to know your debt (especially your senior secured debt) and its terminology
Rule of thumb, it's always the firm in the middle.
Piece of advice, be wary of Wells Fargo and don't sign it they don't bump your FT analyst comp. Less than 100k base is simply disrespectful.
