How to put future banking experience on resume (Sophomore)?

I hate it when people say "incoming summer analyst," but I might not have a choice.

I am a sophomore, and with IB recruiting now done over a year in advance, how do I convey that I will have an internship between interviewing for a bank and the start of the summer analyst program?

Specifically, how do I talk about a corporate banking summer internship I've secured for summer 2022 in spring 2022 when the BBs are recruiting for summer 2023? How do I put this on my resume?

I would probably be reluctant to putting it on your resume - just a weird thing to put on a resume. I think the best thing you could do is to get tue initial phone calk or coffee chat with someone at a firm you’re interested in and then you can leverage your future internship. Example - you get the phone call with an associate whatever and they ask you something along the lines of what have you done in the financial industry, then u can say “this is my internship that im doing in a couple months”

Could be wrong but I would say that you’re better off telling people about it rather than putting it on your resume

And don’t put that “incoming intern” shit on your LinkedIn

Scheduled to complete a x-week internship at x bank within the x group.

If this is a lesser known bank/fund/etc.:
Scheduled to complete a x-week internship with x group at (describe your firm: x amount of transactions in what sector+deal size/AUM).

You can’t really do much, any "incoming" experience will only take 3 lines on your resume. 1st line firm name+place, 2nd line job title+time, and 3rd line to describe. If you need to fill space, write more about your previous experiences.
