How to really break into DCM as someone that is already graduated and is starting from scratch?
I'm 25yo, graduated in Economics and my current role is FX & Derivatives Sales. I'm willing to start a prep to break into DCM maybe in 1 year or 2. My first question is: is it possible?
If the answer is "yes", I'd like some advice regarding what to study considering that I didn't have previous contact with the technical part of the job.
I have some colleagues at the bank that I work for that can help me to get in touch with the DCM guys, but before that I'd like to learn some things that could help me in a conversation so I won't waste the opportunity.
