How to spend internship money
Have about 18k to spare, no loans. I also am poor (come from a poor background). What are the best way to grow that 18k, save it, etc.

Dump it all into SPY or similar index fund, check back in 40 years. If you don’t need it now, let it start compounding. Less fun, but that could be an extra 1-2 years you don’t need to work down the road.
Put half of it in SPXL. Leave the other half in your bank account
Be a degenerate in Mykonos with the boys
just max a Roth for the year (6k), put that 100% in VTI, and then use the rest to have fun through the school year
(mix of sensible and degenerate, you should do some income smoothing if you did an IB internship and are going back)
Invest in crypto. You either:
1. Loss all money in 3 months
2. Loss all money in 20 years
