How to transition into IB with no prior work experience in finance - a prospective MBA student

Hi guys I am interested TO TRANSITION TO a career in IB. ( I am applying to top 5 MBA schools in US and Europe. (INSEAD, LBS, Cambridge etc). About me: Current job role: R&D and Product Management in Medical device firm for 3 years Qualification: **Masters in Electrical from IIT Bombay (GPA - 9.6/10), Q50 in GMAT **Post MBA Goal - IB in Healthcare Industry group (M&A, LevFin) of a BB ( GS, MS, JPM, Citi etc) and then after 2-3 years transition to Healthcare PE. Post MBA Location : London or NYC (but prefer London here) No prior work experience in finance.

How can I transition from my current Tech/PM role to Investment banking. Please help!
