HR Call 2-Weeks Post Final Round Interview
I had a final round interview ~2 weeks ago at a large AM for a FI investment role. I felt like the interview went very well, but having not heard from the firm in a while I figured I was dinged. HR wants to have a phone discussion with me, I have no other details.
Is it fair to assume they are letting me know they selected a different candidate? Or is it unusual for large firms to do rejection phone calls? I’ve only been in banking and normally find banks don’t call for rejections.
