HR salary increase restrictions for employees?
I am a 1st year Corp Dev analyst out of college and recently had a great performance review with my boss. He stated that I will be eligible for the max raise in a few months, but there are limits by HR as to how much he can actually give me. I was wondering if anybody had experience with this on a % basis (3, 5,10,20?) so I know what to expect—Thanks!
Working in Corp Dev currently (ignore the role), I got a "max raise" of 3% this year. Normally companies set corporate wide increases and the only way to go above those salary increases is to move up into a new pay band. It sucks.... But that's corp dev for you.
