HSBC LAF vs LevFin
Hi all - I realise HSBC has a Leveraged & Acquisition Finance ("LAF") team which is what is typically thought of as traditional levfin groups but they also seem to have a Leveraged Finance Coverage ("LevFin") team. Based on their website, it's the same thing but I've heard they are based in different offices and LAF covers deals only whereas LevFin is basically sponsor coverage.
But then HSBC also has a sponsor coverage team within IBD....
Not entirely clear - anyone can chime in?

Isn't HSBC completely exiting US IBD?
No, they're keeping LevFin / LAF, DCM, and Sponsor Coverage from what I heard
Heard levfin is kept too
