I am curious ... how many WSO members read 10K filings before interviewing with a company?

I would love to know how/if you use SEC Edgar 10K filings in your interview process for Wall Street jobs?

Also, do you know of any courses or resources that help teach newbies how to read and use SEC Edgar 10K filings?

Thank you so much!

I think it’s helpful to get a feel and too know what you’re looking for. During undergrad I took a few Corp Finance classes where I had to use them to build modes. If you look up Shkreli’s YouTube channel he has some pretty basic intro to modeling tutorials where he starts from the very beginning and walks through how you’d approach building a model using filings when you don’t have access to Bloomberg or cap IQ.

Hi!

Thank you so much for your comment.  I especially appreciate the YouTube tip for situations where there isn't access to a Bloomberg terminal or Cap IQ.  Thank you again!
