I am giving up on trying to get into IB. Giving one last try through WSO community.
At this point I have lost all hope to get into IB. Mainly because I am from a non-target which couldn't even land me an interview despite of having networked aggressively. Although I have seen people with less knowledge about the industry get into IB only because they were from the target ones in India.I kindly ask the WSO community to help me out getting into IB. I shall be grateful for any assistance given. lhassistanceanyassistance.given.
What kind of assistance are you looking for?
If you have exhausted the search function, networked and have done gone through all applications.. what else are you planning on doing?
Maybe we can provide more ideas.

Go accounting route and try at the Big 4, try to get an advisory internship in M&A, the Big 4 is a lot friendlier to non-target.

Maybe try audit instead and then move in advisory the next year or try to lateral during your internship? I know KPMG has dual internship but that might chalked up to marketing.
Where do you go to school? If you're in India, the path to US/UK BB is extremely limited. A US MBA (top 15, preferably M7) is your best path with 3-5 years work experience.
