I just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience. I have been grinding the entire spring and summer for an IB offer for Summer 2024. I went through countless first round interviews and a handful of superdays without any success. I was at the point where I wanted to give up and do consulting, but then I realized that consulting recruitment was going to be a heinous bloodbath. That was when I knew I had to see my banking recruitment journey through. I began networking heavily throughout the summer at firms that I knew had second waves or late recruitment. I spent every single moment prepping for interviews, tailoring my resume, and sending out networking emails. To increase my focus, I even broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years so I could focus on getting an offer. All this hard work eventually turned into First Round interviews. I was initially worried I wouldn’t get to the SD because I was dinged after 1R for my last 5 interviews. However, I reached the final round for three different banks, and ultimately got an offer at a BB. When the MD called me to give me the good news, I felt a rush of emotions, which went straight to my cock. It started to throb severely and I eventually busted all over my room when I heard the MD say “We’re very happy to have you aboard!” There was so much nut in my pants after that phone call, but I didn’t care because I knew deep down that I deserved this orgasmic relief. I am now a part of the group of highly pretentious people who will flaunt their BB Summer Analyst offer on LinkedIn. I feel validated.
