I feel so behind

My family was hit hard by the pandemic and I've been taking care of sick family and working, which takes up a huge amount of time. I go to a pretty big target and have been able to maintain a 3.75, but I haven't even gotten back a single interview for any sophomore programs and now I'm already seeing deadlines for 2022! Am I screwed? Should I choose a different path? Please monkeys, help me!

Also in terms of my resume, I've had it checked by the WSO service here, so I don't think it is necessarily the issue.

I was almost in the same spot as you, no sophomore internship, 3.75 GPA and deadlines for junior internships running me down. I submitted application after application and nothing.

While it’s nonetheless frustrating, I used that time to make sure that when an interview finally came along I was able to knock it out of the park. Beginning of junior year a few BBs decided to give me a chance and I got offers from CS, GS, and Barclays. Your best bet is to keep grinding, and make sure that you don’t have to prepare for interviews a week in advance, start NOW.

Believe me, if you keep your grades up, network a bit here and there, and keep applying , you’ll get a shot somewhere in the industry. The question is, will you capitalize on the opportunity?

Try not to make the same mistake many people make, don’t procrastinate and start prepping sooner than later.
