Yep, I am engaged. Again, don't see why it matters. Just like you don't dip your pen in the company ink, you don't ever do anything that might draw publicity to you as a banker. And meeting somebody from this board in real life would definitely be the latter.

He was an analyst at a small hedge fund up until I accepted my job offer and we moved to NYC. Now he waits tables for cash flow while he's looking for something in the finance field.

Depends on how you see it. He supported me through college and gave up his kickass hedge fund job so I could have the career I wanted. Now he makes less than I do. I don't know if that makes me a sugar mama or not, but I know people used to call him my sugar daddy.
