IB Analyst to Associate Development
For those (few?) IB Analysts that desire to earn a promotion to Associate, how does one develop one's self to take on the role?
In other words, what technical skills represent Associate-level competency vs Analyst-level competency during year 1? During year 2/3? What intangible skills or behaviors represent Associate-level competency vs. Analyst-level competency?
What "boxes" must be checked to earn A2A consideration by management?
Some may say "all the good ones leave," and this may or may not be true, but what about those Analysts who like what they are doing or like their situation for whatever reason, and want to grow there?
Looking for your serious, helpful thoughts, please!
