IB and AI - what do you use?

Hi all,

I'm an ex-banker who transitioned to tech and am building an AI tool for marketing materials.

Though I'm in a more senior role now, a few years ago as a more junior analyst, I spent countless hours building pitch decks—an experience I'm sure many of you can relate to.

I've developed a tool that connects PowerPoint to your VDR and, with some basic setup and data pipelines, creates a first draft instantly. The tool allows you to specify key metrics you want to track across deals (this requires initial setup), then automatically pulls these metrics as suggestions in a side panel, combined with an efficient way to reference the numbers. Now obviously it still takes a lot of time, but it would take days, not weeks.

I wont share it here as that seems unethical, but my question to you all is, what AI tools are you currently using in your day to day in M&A/CM, and what tools do you wish you had to simplify your life?
